Dear Lord God, I thank you for waking me up this morning. Thank you for sunshine and rain. Thank you for the happy times of life. I want to thank You for the challenging days that draw me closer to You and give me a new perspective and a renewed trust in You. I thank You for Your blessings in this world and for Your blessings in my life. Please guide me, protect me and carry me through this day. Lord forgive me when I don’t live up to your expectations. Help me to be a better person today than I was yesterday. On this day, may I be pleasing to You. You are my Creator - the giver of all life. In the great name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
