Dear God, thank you for carrying me through another week. I thank you for being my creator and the creator of all things. Your works are too amazing to comprehend. As humans, our earthly wisdom is not enough to understand You and your ways. As creator of the universe, I know you can do far more than I can imagine. Your ways are not like our ways. Your thoughts are not like our thoughts. While I am living in my earthly home, please give me Your peace so I can face anything with the confidence that I am not alone. Help me to focus not on this world’s oppressors, but on the freedom You bring. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
